Your SIMandROZ jewelry is a precious and refined piece. To maintain and preserve the original beauty of your product, we recommend that you take a few precautions by following
the instructions and understanding how to care for and protect your jewelry.
CLEANING
Your jewelry should be cleaned regularly. You can easily clean them with warm water, mild dish soap and a soft brush. After cleaning your jewelry in a bowl of warm soapy water, rinse
your piece with clean warm water. Dry your jewelry with a lint‐free cloth. We recommend that you bring your jewels to us annually, to have them checked, professionally cleaned and restored.
STORING&CARE
Store your jewelry in a clean, dry place. Prevent damage of your jewels by storing them individually in their original box or a fabric-lined jewelry case after wearing them. Don’t jumble
your jewelry pieces in a drawer or jewelry case; contact with other jewelry pieces could cause scratches. Chains should be closed and laid flat to avoid the formation of knots.
Consider removing your jewelry before going to sleep. Avoid wearing your jewelry while practicing any sport, washing your hands or using chemical products. Everyday substances like
hairspray, lotion, perfume or other cosmetics can contain chemicals that will permanently damage your jewelry. Exposure to chemicals can damage or discolor jewelry and may harm some
colored gems as well as loosen stones and settings. Avoid contact with fragrance, alcohol, cosmetics, ammonia, chlorine. Fine jewelry should be removed before diving into a chlorinated swimming
pool or before using household cleaners.
Be careful with direct sunlight and heat. Just as the sun’s harmful rays can damage skin, light and heat can fade or damage certain gemstones; such as amethyst, kunzite, and topaz. Other gems,
especially amber and opal, can darken over time when exposed to too much light. To remove any doubt, store jewelry in a dark pouch or jewelry case.
